Chris Smith began working at First State Bank & Trust Company in August of 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Chris is active in various organizations within the community. He is currently President of the Carthage Park Authority as well as Treasurer of the Carthage Athletic Booster Club. He is married to Stacie Steptoe Smith and they have two children, Kaylee and Braden.
